The Regional Agency for Energy and Environment of the Autonomous Region of Madeira constitutes a forum where an exchange of experiences at an European level is performed, to promote the regional development, specially through the broadcasting of innovating solutions with relevant economic and social impact.

Partnerships with the regional authorities
The Regional Agency for Energy and Environment of the Autonomous Region of Madeira has as its main intervention the Energy and the Environment and its interfaces with the island economic activities as tourism, transports and industry. It supports the regional authorities in the development of renewable energy, in the energy conservation and in the guide lining and protection of the environment.

Support to the regional economic agents
The Regional Agency for Energy and Environment of the Autonomous Region of Madeira technically supports the implementation of solutions which contribute to the improvement of its performances and to the assessment to financial concessions, having qualified technicians and national and international collaborators to assure the necessary validation in the quality of the interventions.
