Distribution and Habitat: This endemic species of Madeira lives in rocky places of the coastline, in the southern slope of the island. It is also frequent in the Porto Santo and Desertas islands.
Description: This shrub reaches up to 1 m in height; it has several branches with triangular leaves and yellow flowers.
Conservation statute and Threats: Common plant, not threatened.
Observations: Blooming season is from April to August.
