Conservation statute and Threats: -
Observations: Like its ancestral Felis silvestris, it is a territorial and lonely carnivorous animal, this being the reason for the survival of domestic animals when they are on their own, huntig for food like wild animals. The presence of this species's wild form constitutes a threat to the conservation of some species that nest in the archipelago, namely, the zino's petrel.
