Distribution and Habitat: Endemic of Porto Santo. It occurs in arid zones close to the ground, under rocks.
Description: Sub-globular shell, with 4 spiral turns, grooved, with small roots that can only be seen with the help of a magnifying glass. It has a brown stripe halfway around the last turn and a whitish and yellowish base. The shell's opening is rounded and it has a brownish colouration.
