Distribution and Habitat: Endemic of the Madeira Archipelago. It occurs in arid zones close to brick or stone walls or in rock gaps.

Description: It has a spindle-shaped shell, with 10 turns, heavily and longitudinally spaced grooves, with 12 mm in height and 3 mm in diameter. Elongated oval opening, with a vertical tooth on the left side of the upper edge. The colouration of the shell is brownish.
