Distribution and Habitat: Present in the tropical regions of the Atlantic Ocean. It may be found in puddles on the coastline at low depths.
Description: It has an erect thallus, branching generally between 40 cm and 60 cm, and is an olive brown colour. Ramifications are dichotomously divided.
