Distribution and Habitat: Its presence in the region is extremely common. It occurs globally in the temperate, subtropical and tropical seas.
Description: It has a yellowish pattern on its sides, between the eye and the dorsal fin, which is easily visible when it jumps. The posterior sides and the tail peduncle are light grey. The belly is white-coloured and the beak is prominent, slender and black. The tail fluke is high and dark. It reaches 2 m in length and weighs 100 Kg.
Conservation statute and Threats: Of little concern.
Observations: Often seen during winter and spring, mainly from January to July.
