Common name: Club-tipped anemone.

Distribution and Habitat: Its presence in the region is very common; it lives sheltered in rocky cavities of the infralittoral.

Description: It is a solitary anemone that has a large and cylindrical spine, with a crown of 80 tentacles and 30 cm in diameter. The tentacles located near the edge are smaller than those located closer to the mouth and are all thicker in the apical area. Its colouration is rosy, greenish, violet, blue or brownish.
