Distribution and Habitat: Its presence in the region is very common; it may be found in the infralittoral rocky bottoms. During the day, it shelters under the rocks and it becomes active during the night.
Description: It has an ear-shaped shell that may reach a length of 10 cm. It is externally decorated with whorls and, on the last one, there are several round holes lined up. The last 6 holes are open and it is from here that the pallial tentacles protrude. The colouration of the shell varies between greenish brown and red. Inside, the shell has a pearly blue colour and the body of the animal is dark grey.
