Distribution and Habitat: It is found in the rocky bottoms of the coast up to 100 m depth and in the puddles of shallow waters where it shelters in the rocks crevices.

Description: Black-coloured, generally with white dots. Its length may reach 1,30 m.

Observations: Caught with fish pots. It has nocturnal habits and is carnivorous.
