Quinta da Palmeira
Quinta da Palmeira has one of the most luxurious gardens in the city of Funchal. At this place you can enjoy the contact with some of Madeira's flora species and also some exotic species.
The Quinta Palmeira has an area of about 30.000 m2 and is located above Levada de Santa Luzia street.
Its strong features are the superb gardens of high botanical interest, and the astonishing view over the city of Funchal, the large trees and the amazing residence.
The Manuelina window which came from João Esmeraldo's building, where we believe Cristóvão Colombo lived, is probably one of the most interesting cultural features of this Quinta.
