Quinta do Arco

In the gardens of Quinta do Arco, located in Arco de São Jorge, in the north coast of the island, you can discover one of the greatest collections, in Portugal, of rose trees, with some rare species and others in extinction.
This collection has more than one thousand different species of this bloom. You can look at ancient and recent rose trees, climbing and not climbing rose trees. The most important and rare ones are catalogued with names and classes.
