It is known that the word “ecotourism” has come from “ecological tourism”, from the more characteristic principle of this tourism segment: “knowledge with no environment impact”.
Its essence is based on nature and in the development of a responsible activity which involves environment information and learning.
The worldwide growth of the environment conscience linked to the dissatisfaction for the mass tourism has contributed to increase the search for more real experiences, based on nature and cultural features, having as destinations more exotic places.
