Distribution and Habitat: This endemic species of Madeira may be found up to 1100 m altitude, living in rocky scarps, over walls and tree trunks.
Description: It is a creeping plant with aerial roots and green or brown hairy stems. It has wide shiny and dark green leaves, with 1 to 5 lobes and small greenish yellow flowers. The fruit is globular and black when it is ripe.
Conservation statute and Threats: Common species, not threatened.
Observations: Blooming season is from September to October.
