Distribution and Habitat: Its presence in the region is occasional. It may be found in especially productive zones, in tropical and warm temperate waters all over the world.

Description: This whales characteristics are very similar to the Sei whales; it is distinguishable because it has 3 longitudinal ridges on the rostrum and it curves its tail peduncle when it dives. It reaches 13 m in length and weighs 18.000 Kg.
